Champions emerge at Margate CC

Robert Mavundla won the recent strokeplay champs at Margate Country Club, scoring 142 to beat defending champion Sean Baker by five shots.

B division honours went to Ernie Janse on 162, six ahead of Alan Davies.

Silverware for ladies’ champion Wilna Olkers (right) and runner-up Grace Fourie.

Greg Litkie won the C division on 69 points, on a countout from Bob Weanie.

In the ladies section, the winner was Wilna Olkers on a 36 hole score of 167, followed by Grace Fourie on 188.
