Too Daan good from Swanepoel

In the C division it was Peter Stoppel who claimed top spot, on nett 72, two ahead of Rob Vogt.

It was time for the Monthly Mug Hulley van Wyk Challenge at Port Shepstone Country Club last Saturday.

Former club champion Daan Swanepoel won the day, on a gross score of 78 off his eight handicap.

He also had best nett of 70.

Cameron Olivant, aged 12, won the Stableford on 35 points, on a countout from Riaan Ahrens.

Gavin van Wyk won the A division on nett 75, one ahead of Pete Govender.

Charles Hulley took the honours in the B division on nett 71, edging out Paul Bunge by one.

In the C division it was Peter Stoppel who claimed top spot, on nett 72, two ahead of Rob Vogt.

The competition last Wednesday was won by Gary Vogt and Jenny Hulley on 42 points.

In a tie for second on 41 points were Gavin van Wyk and Bruce Holmes, with Jimmy Parsons and Lionel Peters.
