Visitor Ed aces 4th

The Wednesday alliance at Southbroom Golf Club was won by Malcolm Greenland, Clive Miller and Colin Mckay on 89 points.
Second place went to Bruce Begley, Bruce Matthew, Norman Farrell and Graham Royston on 83 points.

Peter Leeming, Bob Carmichael, Nicky Smith and Andrew Wager finished third with 83 points on a countout.
On Saturday, some familiar names popped up, the winners being Malcolm Greenland, Clive Miller, Colin Mckay and Eric van der Spuy, again on 89 points.

In second spot were Terry Counihan, Alte Stephens, Ed de Swardt, who aced the 4th, and John Spencer on 85 points.

It was Ed’s first round at the club, although his wife has played in the Ladies Classic.

Third place went to Johan Wentzel, Juri Matthee, Anton Kohrmann and Brian Jolliffe on 81 points.

* At Port Shepstone Country Club, winners last Wednesday were Gavin van Wyk and Alan Rowley on 47 points.
In second place on 44 points were Rob Vogt and Tom Pearson, one ahead of Deon Venter and Bennie Jacobs.

The Friday business day, sponsored by Halfway Ford Port Shepstone, was won on 86 points by Jennifer Duncan, Yzelle Greyling, Kim Strauss and Cecelia Verster.
Runners-up on 85 points were Tom Pearson, Sheldon van der Merwe, Craig Lindsay and a ghost.

Third spot on 83 points went to Pete Govender, Rajen Naidoo, Ganes Munsami and Sanjay Singh.
Saturday’s rain affected golf was won on 47 points by Jarrod van Wyk and Niel Retief.
