Darts league hots up
In third position are Lions Green on 12 points with three draws, three losses and three wins.
The Super Auto Midas 3-Aside darts league, presented by the Margate Darts Association and sponsored by Midas, is getting heated after game nine.
Alphas Kwasa Kwasa sit at the summit of the table with only one loss and two draws, three points clear of second placed Lions Red who currently have 17 points.
In third position are Lions Green on 12 points with three draws, three losses and three wins.
Fourth placed Lions Blue will look to close the three point deficit in their next fixture to move up to third spot, and will look to keep fifth placed Alphas Pro’s at bay, who sit one point behind the Blues on eight points.
However, it will be the Alphas Beginners who will have it all to do having just won one of their nine games, losing four and drawing another four.
The club will also be hosting it’s ‘Fallen Friends’ 10th anniversary fundraiser at Douglas Mitchell Sports Bar and Family Restaurant on September 24.
Players from the public are encouraged to sign up at only R50 per person with play set to begin at 13:00. Limited to only 50 players.
