Two points further back were Denis Brown and Wayne Simpson with 41, Tony Power and Alan Hawkins were third on 39 and Linda Hall led a trio of prizewinners on 37 points down to sixth place.
Ian Walker and Allan Eriksen were nearest the pins on holes 5 and 10 respectively and there were a host of 2-clubs with Thys Swart also claiming the hidden holes.
Graham Brown, still dreaming of his Wednesday win, was lost in thought as he, along with Tony Moore, picked up his second prize of the week this time the Stone.
