Visitors pop in at Tweni

Shaun Delaney also played as a visitor and members look forward to seeing both these players on the courts again soon.

Judy Fishel who is visiting from the UK, was a welcome visitor at Umtentweni Tennis Club last Saturday.

Members are sorry to hear that her sister is not well and wish her a speedy recovery.

Speaking of recovery – Dave Whateley’s arm is now out of a sling (because he doesn’t want to look like an invalid!) which is great news and Elena’s nursing duties are not quite so hectic.

Keep on healing, Dave – your noisy banter is sorely missed on the courts.

Anyone still wishing to play in the friendly match against Southbroom on October 10 should speak to Raj Naganna or Liesl Smith.

Members wish André Mey a happy birthday on October 1 and lots of smashing tennis in the year ahead.

Raj Naganna is on duty on September 25 and Chantelle Donald on October 2.

A friendly reminder that beside providing eats for tea, Saturday duty also involves arranging sets till 16:00.
