The club held its annual general meeting and trophy presentation last week Saturday with Dumisani Madlala being the well deserved club champion.
Winners of the 3rd Avenue mixed fours played on September 20 were Peter von Brandis, Jill von Brandis, Mari Strauss and Vernon Strauss.
Runners-up were Alex Bukes, Nossie Patterson, Neil Patterson and Div de Villiers.
Session prize went to Dennis Graham, André Lourens, Jenny Graham and Elsa Lourens.
MARGATE
The Crayfish Inn Women’s 2-bowl trips winners were Heather Roberts, Margie Purkiss and Brigette Cary-Smith.
Runners-up were Maureen Muller, Cassidy Martin and Meisie Kuhn.
Session prize went to Ellen Burt, Helen Proctor and Debbie Evans. 50/50 winner was Dora Vosloo.

The JL Panelbeaters’ Men’s Fours were won by Brian Douthwaite, Alan Gibson, Trevor Howard and Hans van der Walt.
Runners-up were Mike Prinsloo, Ralph Burls, Sergio Ruperto and Theo Vorster, and Jokkie van Buuren, Rob Lyle, Ken Simm and Mark Barnes finished third.
Round eight of the Hibiscus Brokers’ Ultra Pairs was won by Margie Purkiss and Anthony Card.
Second spot went to Trevor and Voulene Prinsloo, who counted out Glenn and Sue Hatfield.
