Streaker brings Heritage Day bowls compo to a standstill

Who says playing bowls is boring? Definitely not when you belong to AMBC and this in a retirement village. During our fun bowls event on Heritage Day, all games came to a standstill when we had a streaker run across the greens. Some bowlers wondered if they were having some kind of attack or losing their eyesight. But no, it was a real streaker and we’ve got the photo to prove it.
In more regular news, the Hibiscus Brokers Mixed Trips were played on Tuesday (21st) and the winners were Phil Myburgh, Gina George and Barbara Henderson with a score of 4+17.
Runners-up with a score of 4+12 were Richard v Waltsleven, Carol Cameron and Denton Duvel.
