SKZN rugby takes on Sharks Academy this Saturday
After narrowly falling short by one try in their first fixture in Richmond, the boys from SKZN were edged out 31-24 by their Sharks Academy counterparts.
After almost two years since their last home fixture, the Southern KZN (SKZN) Rugby Academy is gearing up for their return fixture against The Sharks Academy from Durban at the Douglas Mitchell Sports Ground this Saturday.
After narrowly falling short by one try in their first fixture in Richmond, the boys from SKZN were edged out 31-24 by their Sharks Academy counterparts.
With their eyes set on victory, this fixture offers up another opportunity to fix their errors and capitalise on their strengths.
According to strength and conditioning, as well as backline coach Hendrick Malan, a unified team will be a strengthened team.
“Our vision with our players was to get them to become brothers and know each other well while they put in the hard work,” he said.
With match expected to start at 15:00, the public is encouraged to arrive early and enjoy 10-A-side rugby action on display by the South Coast Warriors.
