Large medal haul for Blue Ocean swimmers

Everraud went a step further and claimed the overall under 14 age group winner of the meet title.

Ten swimmers from the Blue Ocean Aquatics (BOA) Swimming Club attended the annual Seagulls Gala in Amanzimtoti where they walked away with 19 medals – seven gold, seven silver, and three bronze.

Everraud Raynard was the day’s biggest achiever with six gold and five silver medals, while Enzo Raynard won two gold, a silver and two bronze medals.

Liam Venter’s performance at the Froggie Gala held in Richards Bay recently saw him dominate the water and walk away with one silver and seven gold medals.

Tehl-Cadi Day-Garden and Ella Bunge secured themselves silver medals while Peter Koegelenberg rounded up the winner’s list with a bronze medal.

Everraud went a step further and claimed the overall under 14 age group winner of the meet title.

BOA placed third in the boys’ point standing out of 23 clubs with 204 points while the girls’ finished 11th in their standing with 76 points out of 26 clubs.

Meanwhile, Liam Venter also of BOA reigned supreme at the Froggie Gala hosted in Richards Bay recently. He walked away with eight medals, seven gold and one silver.
