Golf news to the tee

The next event will be the Monthly Medal Hulley van Wyk Challenge taking place at the club this Saturday.

At Port Shepstone Country Club:

Alan Rowley carded 35 points to edge out Bruce Holmes by one point to win the competition last Wednesday. Smittie Stieger was third on 32 points.
Thys Blom and Paul Geoffery scored 44 points to win last Saturday, two ahead of Rob Piers and a pivot.
In third place were Hans and Marietjie Stols on 40 points.
The next event will be the Monthly Medal Hulley van Wyk Challenge taking place at the club this Saturday.

At Southbroom Golf Club:
There was a fourway tie for first place on 44 points last Saturday.
The countout was won by Pieter and Jean-Henri Els, over Neil Crossey and Werner Duggan, Grant Manicon and Neil Thomas, Kai Hielckert and Mark Kassner.
Ant Hughes and Derek James were next on 43 points.
The Chicken Run was won by Chris Ledden with 20 points, one ahead of Geoff Skelton and Martin Hutton.

At San Lameer Country Club:

The recent Master Builders Golf Day was won by Piet Fourie, Zappa Coetzee, Jaco van der Wal and Chris Nel.
In second place were Kishal Reddy, Kavish Naidu, Vinodh Bridglall and Preggy Naidu, with Pravish Govender, Preggie Perumal, Natiaan Addelrath and Justin Naidoo on a count out.
