Ashley brought up his half century in a league record of 15 balls and ended with 95 in just 30 balls with eight sixes and eight fours.
He shared a 106 run partnership with Sachin Kalkapersad, who helped himself to a 41 ball 74, which included two fours and six sixes, including a switch hit six that brought the crowd to its feet.
Kings ended with a league best of 274 for 6 in their 20 overs.
In response, Wolfpack got off to a difficult start and found themselves 58 for 4 at the 10 over mark.
Up stepped Meshan Lanka with a well played 105 of just 65 deliveries and carried his team to a respectable total of 175 for 6 in their 20 overs.
Pick of the bowlers for Kings was Raja Kazi, who took two wickets for 22 runs and Osman Moosa who took two wickets for 26 runs.
Despite Meshan’s heroic effort, Kings won by 101 runs in a proper run-fest and set up a mouth watering clash between Kings and Knockouts at Port Shepstone Country Club this Sunday at 09:00.
