HIBBERDENE
The club held a Nominated Mix Trips competition sponsored by Hibberdene Pharmacy last Friday.
Albert Munnik, Bubbles Bezuidenhout and Sylvia Pretorius were the day’s winners, finishing ahead of Deon Gerber, Louis Gerber and Dirk de Villiers.
The session prize was awarded to Paul Grutter, Judy Aiston and Johan Labuschagne.
The next competition will be on Friday (19th) and it will be a Drawn Trips competition sponsored by REMAX. Play is set to start at 14:00.
THE BELL
The Fours competition sponsored by Homemakers Hardware, Cosmetic Procurement and First Choice Home Cleaners was played at the club last week.
The winners on the day were Hew Hodgeson, Kevin Mullen, Chris Peier and Roy Matkovich, who finished ahead of second placed Ann Swanepoel, Mada Lindeque, Monica Middlewick and Ryan Keys. The top three was rounded off by Renzo van Niekerk, Louw Brits, Bob Hicks and Tickey Nel.
Well done to Louw Vermeulen for being runner-up in the masters played last weekend. Visitors welcome.
MARGATE
The club congratulates Franci Philpott on winning the Women’s KBA Masters last weekend.
Last Friday, the club held the Hibiscus Brokers Open Trips which was won by Shane Nienaber; Rodney Winnan and Trish Bell.
Gary Hess; Mervyn Barratt and Brian Smalberger finished in second place respectively, while the session prize went to Wilma Steinmann; Cobie Engelbrecht and Martie de Beer.
