Visitors enjoy tennis at Tweni
Dan Dimitriu celebrates his birthday on the 17th and members look forward to having him back on the courts soon.
Despite the humidity last Saturday, there were four courts in action at Tweni Tennis Club and several visitors joined members for a great afternoon of tennis.
It was good to have Judy Fischel and her family as well as Tanya Dimitriu with us again.
Belated birthday greetings for December go to Mary Wood for the 14th and Ian Ackerman and Chloe Dutton for the 23rd; and in January – Jean Marx for the 3rd, Neil Perry and Rob Browne for the 5th and Elena Whateley for the 6th.

Several members stayed for a New Year’s Day braai after tennis as the planned New Year’s Eve event was washed out.
Thanks to all the organisers – it was enjoyed by all who were there.
Members are requested to check the Saturday duty list which is up on the notice board and has also been emailed to everyone. Remember this entails eats for tea, arranging sets and clearing up after tea!
The AGM will be held on Saturday, January 29 at 15:00.
Members are requested to make every effort to attend this important event on the club’s calendar.
