Hall and Jooste win betterball Stableford

Club president Ian Walker was not going to be left out of winning a prize as he and Russel Freeman managed 39 points to win the P&G Construction bottle of scotch last Saturday.

The captain and manager came to the fore in a betterball Stableford at Scottburgh Golf Club last Wednesday.

Bob Hall and Deane Jooste totalled 40 points to win by one from one half of the Umdoni raiders Geoff Thommasen and Mick Marriot.

The other half of the raiders, Roly Tickle and Mike Eley, picked up the Stone.

Surprisingly, there were no 2 clubs and the hidden holes are back underground.

Club president Ian Walker was not going to be left out of winning a prize as he and Russel Freeman managed 39 points to win the P&G Construction bottle of scotch last Saturday.

Counted out into second place was Dennis Brown and Wayne Simpson. Deane Jooste picked up again this time with the help of Anton Visage on 38 points.

The hidden holes peeped out and were snaffled by Russel Freeman and Jooste consolidated his third place by having the only 2 club.

This Wednesday (19th) is a combined Stableford and this Saturday (22nd) Seeff estate agency will sponsor a betterball Stableford. As you may have noticed, Seeff has also branded our golf carts so come along and support the day.
