SOUTHBROOM
Southbroom International Shootout took place at the club last week, and was won by the Bloody Foreigners comprised of Roger Phillips, Heather Anderson, Emil Hierhold and Hannah Hierhold on 160 points ahead of the second placed Afro Scots made up of Colin Mckay, Malcolm Greenland, Alex Crawford and Ken Crawford who also finished on 160 points.
Finishing third with 159 points were Marius Santos, Bo Bergqvist, Mats Svanberg and Ralph Probst of Team Sweden 2, while The Locals comprised of Howard Kelly, Erik van der Spuy, Tracy van der Spuy and Nicki Smith ended in fourth spot with 158 points.

PORT SHEPSTONE COUNTRY CLUB
The Betterball Stableford took place last Wednesday and was won by Paul Bunge and Albert dos Santos on 43 points, one point ahead of second placed Roly Shaw and Gerald Koch (42 points), edging out Pete Govender and Chris Boyce on a count out.
In last Friday’s Halfway Ford Business Day competition Jennifer Duncan, Cecelia Verster, Yzelle Greyling and Kim Strauss’s 96 points saw them finish in first place.
Rudi Steyn, Rob Piers, Charles and Jenny Hulley’s 87 points saw them in second place, while a count out for third place saw Sanjay Singh, Yeshvan Sampathmany, Rajin Naidoo and Pete Govender (82 points) round off the top three.
The D’arcy Dental Monthly Mug took place last Saturday. The individual Stableford was won by Andrew Maree (38 points) ahead of runner-up Cecelia Verster with 36 points while third place went to Sandi Burger (34 points)
In the A division, D Barclay finished first with a 74 nett on a count out ahead of Darryl D’arcy who also finished on 74 nett.
The B division was won by Niel Retief on 72 nett. In second place was Rob Piers with a 73 nett while Louis Klopper’s 72 nett saw him win the C division ahead of runner-up Rob Vogt’s 75 nett.
The best gross went to James Coull with his gross of 77, while Smittie Stieger’s 72 nett saw him crowned the mug winner.
The next event will take place this Saturday (19th) and will be a 4 Ball Alliance.
