Winning ways for Nathanson and Surtees

Bevis Fairbrother carded 39 points to win the individual Stableford.

Port Shepstone Country Club recently hosted the Property Circle golf day, in aid of South Coast Hospice.

Winners were Shaun Nathanson and Aaron Surtees on 47 points, counting out Ian Jones and Craig Lindsay. In third place on 45 points were Pat Eliot and Alan Clark.

Bevis Fairbrother carded 39 points to win the individual Stableford competition at Port Shepstone Country Club last Wednesday.

He edged out Stewart Betts, who had 38 points, and Paul Bunge, on 36 points.

The Halfway Ford Business Day saw Bevis back in the prizes, winning the day on 94 points with Tom Pearson, Sheldon van der Merwe and Craig Lindsay.

Four points adrift were Kim Strauss, Yzelle Greyling, Jennifer Duncan and Cecelia Verster, followed by Piet Fourie, George Nagel, Johan Neethling and Jaco van der Wal on 87 points.

Saturday’s golf was won by Stewart Betts and Paul Bunge on +5, with second place shared on +4 by Rob Calder and Sidney Shingange, as well as Nick Wattrus and Paul Geoffery.
