Bowls awareness fun day for AMBC soon

AMBC will host a bowls awareness fun day for bowlers and non-bowlers on Freedom Day (April 27) at 08:30 for 09:00.
The format is 2 x 10 ends and costs R50 per players.
A braai will follow and players are asked to bring their own meat.

Congratulations to Richard van Waltsleven and Louise Shone on winning the recent AMBC club mixed drawn pairs championship. The runners-up were Bob Elliott and Elma Pennells.
Winners of the monthly J Leslie Smith Men’s Trips were Len Brickhill, Mike Mordaunt and Billy Smith with a score of 4+18.
Runners-up, with a score of 4+9 were Henry Hampson, Colin McFarlane and Fred Hutchins. The second session went to Roger Lane, Rod Black and Mike Wood with a score of 2+10.
