Mud, sweat and cheers for Tweni tennis

Umtentweni Tennis Club members recently downed racquets and rolled up sleeves to clean up court and clubhouse after April’s heavy rains.

Vast amounts of mud and sand had to be removed from the courts and surrounding clubhouse and it took some serious sweat and teamwork to get it done.

Special thanks were extended to Natasha Cotterell and Liesl Smith for their efforts in giving the clubhouse a new look and to all those who assisted.

Club chairman Chris Connellan has been a tower of strength and he is thanked for his efforts, which often go unnoticed.

Reminder to all members about the SGM to be held at the clubhouse this Saturday (7th) at 17:00.
