Rain washed out play at Southbroom Golf Club last Saturday, as it did last Sunday when the club was due to host the opening round of the Southern KZN Handicap League.
This fixture has been postponed.
Before that, Sue Kupisiewicz, Heleen Hissey, Lyn Blackstock and Gwyn Wright won the Wednesday competition on 71 points.
The men’s alliance was won on 80 points by Roger Hissey, Vic Pretorius, Rob Meydell and Roy Deakins.
Runners-up were Russell Mackenzie, Mark Burnett, Gary Purtell and Nicky Smith on 79 points, one ahead of Bob O’Callaghan, Chris Ledden, Ken and Alex Crawford.
The Nashua Open Day was won on 89 points by Jurie Matthee, Anton Kohrmann, Johan Wentzel and Brian Jolliffe.
