Hard work pays off for karateka
Karateka from the Suid Natal Martial Arts Academy who attended the Gasshuku , also graded for their black belts at an intense grading session facilitated by the top karateka in the style.
The International Shorei Martial Arts Academy recently held their much-anticipated Summer Gasshuku at TO Strand, Port Edward from April 29 to May 1.
The Karate Gasshuku, which attracted karateka from all over South Africa, was an amazing opportunity for the karateka of the ISMAA style to train together, which included a fun beach session and intense drills alike.
Karateka from the Suid Natal Martial Arts Academy who attended the Gasshuku , also graded for their black belts at an intense grading session facilitated by the top karateka in the style.
The following karateka passed their grading:
Sensei George Capazorio (8th Dan – Hachidan); Divan du Toit and Tinelle Burger (Junior Shodan); Marcel du Toit and Wian de Beer (Cadet Shodan).
Many years of hard work and dedication have certainly paid off for these karateka.
