Izotsha Primary’s Intermediate and Senior Phase sports teams participated in a hockey, netball and rugby sports festival at Port Edward Primary last Saturday. The learners thoroughly enjoyed their matches, playing against a variety of schools. Much fun was had by all.

The school is exceptionally proud of Josh Stedman (u13), Josh Barker (u12), Zack Apostolides (u12) and Landyn Nicholls (u12) who were awarded their Southern KwaZulu-Natal (SKZN) colours for rugby. They attended the SKZN rugby trials in Pietermaritzburg recently. The school has awarded each of them with a Sports Achievement certificate and badge.

The school is also exceptionally proud of Leah Andrews who has been selected for the KZN Coastals u13B girls’ hockey team.

Despite Covid preventing learners from participating in school sport for so long, they have taken it on with zest and enthusiasm and are achieving very well.

The Grade 4 – 7 learners are busy with their control tests. They are wished well during this period.
