SOUTHBROOM
Winning the Wolf Security Open Trips at Southbroom on May 26 were Bill Eccles, Manny Rodrigues and Julia Moorley. Runners-up were Cleve Walker, Tony Waters and Julie Walker. First session went to Jeff Cronje, Tim Pole and Louis Heystek and the second to Neale Cary-Smith, Alfred Shusha and Brigitte Cary-Smith.
HIBBERDENE
The Dr Khan (dental surgeon) sponsored drawn trips on May 20 were won by Werner Mody, Pauline Howle and Pieter Rossouw, from Albert Munnik, Bubbles Bezuidenhout and Hettie Nel. In third place were Johan Labuschagne, Rienie Blignault and Lorraine van Heerden.
The drawn trips competition sponsored by RE/MAX on May 27 was won by Alex Bukes, Rienie Blignault and Gill Rule. Runners-up were Albert Munnik, Bubbles Bezuidenhout and Joey Venter, with Richard Dunn, Judy Hoyer and Elize Duvenhage in third place.
Next competition is drawn trips sponsored by Hibberdene Spar, this Friday (3rd), starting at 13:00.
THE BELL
Winners of the invitational novice pairs played all weekend were Mark Kassner with skip Cleve Walker, from Vernon Strauss and Dumisani Madadla.
In third were Johan Labuschange and Adam Grobler. A big thank you to sponsor, the Hurst Family, in memory of their brother.
Thank you to Harbourview Superspar for once again sponsoring the club trips. Winners were Yvonne James, Ryan Keys and Peter Anderson.
The club will serve as headquarters for the KZN pairs being played in the district this weekend.
VILLAGE
Winning the Hibiscus Retirement Village Open 2-4-2 were Annette Payne and Louis Heystek.
Runners-up were Manny Rodrigues and Ann Waugh.
First session winners were Mervyn Barratt and Julie Moorley.
Second session winners were Ali Mitchell and Doug Kent.
TWENI
The Harbourview Superspar mixed pairs were won by Dumisani Madlala and Nellie Davies.
Runners-up were Keith Mills and Tammy Gibbons. Session prize went to Peter von Brandis and Jing Wu.
