Members of the South Coast Freshwater Angling Club fished the KwaZulu-Natal Club Championship against 13 top teams at Chelmsford Dam in Newcastle. There were five zones at the dam, with 26 anglers per zone.

One of the club’s highlights was provided by Edna Ward, who won the B zone, overall. She was also the top woman points earner in the championship.

‘Mother Club’ Kokstad Fishing Club finished third overall, the local one a little further down, with the weather proving challenging for optimum fishing.
