Kim clinches matchplay title at Sheppie

Kim Strauss won the women’s matchplay title (again) at Port Shepstone Country Club, this time beating Sandi Burger in a tight match, 2-up.
In other news, it was announced on the KZN Golf Union website that the club will host the KZN Amateur from August 17 to 21.
The men’s competition last Wednesday was won by Lionel Peters and Allan Rowley on 46 points, from Smittie Stieger and Piet Snyman on 39 points.

The winner of the D’arcy Dental Monthly Mug last Saturday was Paul Geoffery on nett 70 off his 10 handicap. Paul also had the best gross.
A division winner was Gavin van Wyk on nett 75, two ahead of Sidney Shingange.
Andriew Brewis won the B division on nett 72, by two from Fanie Terblanche.
C division honours went to Rob Calder on nett 77, by three from Graham Dickson.
