RIVERSIDE
The Food Lover’s Market 2-4-2 monthly competition was won by Phillip Pretorius and Timothy Woolley, from Clive Edmundson and Jan Nel.
Session prize went to to Nossie and Neil Patterson.
The club also hosted the Riverside Challenge, a fours competition played over two days for a total of over R30 000 in prize money.
Thanks are extended to all sponsors, as well as the volunteers and players.
Winning team was skipped by Dion Audie, with Wayne Roberts, Ferro van Greunen and Wayne Naude.
Runners-up were a local side skipped by Luke Pohl, with Pat Maulgue, Johannie Theron and Richard Griffiths.
This will be an annual competition played in June.

HIBBERDENE
The club hosted the 101 2-bowl Challenge from June 6 to 10. Sponsors and players are all thanked.
Winners were Mally Hean, Des Hean, Bruce Hoyer, Janine Aaden Toorn and Amanda Boucher.
Runners-up were Robbie Duyts, Collin Abbood, Charmaine van der Westhuizen, Charmaine Vermeulen and Maureen du Toit.
In third place were Alex Bukes, Maureen Muller, Nossie Patterson, Rentia Williamson and Zander Helberg.
The more recent Hibberdene Pharmacy nominated drawn trips competition was won by Robbie Duyts, with Hans and Dina van der Walt.
In second place were Johan Labuschagne, Div de Villiers and Elize Duvenhage.
Third place went to Adam Grobler, Estelle Quinn and Jimmy Hay.
Gladiator Security drawn trips this Friday from 13:00.
MARGATE BC
There’s plenty coming up for bowlers at Margate BC.
Friday, June 24 – Food Lover’s Market Open Pairs at 13:30.
Saturday, June 25/Sunday, June 26 – Club Nominated Men’s/Women’s Pairs, followed by bring & braai.
Tabs days are every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 13:30.
Social bowls is every Sunday from 09:00, casual dress.
THE BELL
Well done to Sharolyn Dacey for winning the club ladies singles this weekend and for Gerda Clark as runner-up.

Winners of the 3rd Avenue Restaurant trips were Louw Vermeulen, Jimmy Holtshauzen and Kevin Mullen.
In second place were Rynier van Tonder with Hans and Dina van der Walt. Third went to Tony Aveyard, Khaya Hlongwa and Louw Brits.
Club pairs are being played this weekend so there will be no tabs in on Saturday.
VILLAGE
Winning the Spec-Savers open 2-4-2 were Gary Hess and Bill Eccles, from Ali Mitchell and Doug Kent.
The first session winners were Mervyn Barratt and Johnny Ralf; second session winners were John Keppler and Steve Rennie.
