Warriors dunk Dolphins at Douglas Mitchell

Their next game is against Varsity College at home (Genesis Youth Centre field) on Saturday, July 23.

South Coast Warriors encountered a new-look Ballito rugby team in their KZN First Division South league clash at Douglas Mitchell Sports Ground last Saturday.
Ballito has recently been joined by players from Walter Sisulu University and they came out firing and physical.
The Warriors saw off the waves of attack and after about 30 minutes took full control of the match to eventually win 36-0 and keep their unbeaten run going.
The home team ran in six unanswered tries, with Josh Walden scoring a hat-trick, Graeme Bester dotting down twice and Westley Nyman scoring the other one.
Daryn Nyman slotted three conversions.
Men of the match were Jason Kobben (forwards) and Josh Walden (backs).
The Warriors have a bye this week and will host Harlequins RC on Saturday, July 9.

The second team has been on something of a roll of late and beat their Ballito counterparts 45-0.
Ballito arrived late so there was only time for one half.
Seven tries were scored, by Matt Louw, Westley Nyman, Duan Potgieter, Che Woodenberg, Chad Landsberg, Keketsu Mfolozi and Mardu Pretorius.
There were five conversions by Gert Pieterse.
Men of the match were Jason Olivier (forwards) and Taine Booker (backs).

* The Southern KZN U20s are on a break for three weeks. There was no game played last Saturday, only the week before where they lost 37-20 to 37 to UKZN ‘A’.
