Mkhoma brothers shine at Sheppie business day
Phiwa fired a one under par 71 on the day.
The Halfway Ford Business Day last Friday was won on 91 points by Mlondi Zithumane, Emmanuel Godongwane, current club champion Phiwa Mkhoma and Kwanele Mkhoma.
They also secured three of the four nearest the pins – Phiwa (5th), Kwanele (8th) and Mlondi (17th), with Ian Stewart nearest on the 14th.
Runners-up were Allan Rowley, Bruce Holmes, Chris and Ian Stewart on 89 points.
In third place were Tom Pearson, Sheldon van der Merwe, Craig Lindsay and Greg Small on 89 points.
Fanie Terblanche and Smittie Stieger won the Wednesday competition on 45 points, counting out Rob Calder and Mark Smith.
In third place on 44 points were Charles Hulley and Bruce Holmes on 44 points.
Saturday’s Individual Stableford was won by Stewart Betts on 36 points, four ahead of Gerald Koch on 32 points. Graham Dickson was next on 31 points.
The Members in Christ Church golf day will take place this Saturday (16th).
