Albatross for Tinus at Sheppie

Highlight of the week at Port Shepstone Country Club was provided by Tinus Pretorius who made a two on the par five 7th hole, a rare albatross.

The Wednesday competition was won by Gavin van Wyk and Basil King on 46 points, by three from Stewart Betts and Albert dos Santos.

Saturday’s competition was won by Piet Snyman and Lionel Peters on 69 points, one ahead of Stewart Betts and Paul Bunge.

In third, on a countout, were Hendrik and Stienie Janse van Rensburg on 65 points.
