TWENI
The club held its annual general meeting last Wednesday, with Peter von Brandis elected as new president and Albert van Niekerk vice president.
Trophies were also awarded to competition winners, in particular the winners of the singles champs, namely Peter (men) and Nellie Davies (women).
The Harbourview Superspar mixed pairs was won by Nellie Davies and Dumisani Madlala.
Runners-up were Tony Aveyard and Rose Ludwig. Session prize went to Albert van Niekerk and Ruth Findlay.
The Tweni Pharmacy men’s pairs was won by Robbie Duyts and Hans van der Walt, from Dennis Graham and Dick Eltringham.
Session prize went to Albert Munnik and Colin Abbood.
SOUTHBROOM
Winning the Wolf Security open trips were Glenn Hatfield, Sue Hatfield and Brent Addison.
Runners-up were Cleve Walker, Julie Walker and Sue Wood.
First session went to Eileen Burt, Osie Osborne and Denis Hodgson and the second to Alfred Shusha, Peter Cahill and Wayne Addison.
THE BELL
Well done to Louw Vermeulen for winning the club singles once again and to Clinton Knott for being the runner-up.
Harbourview Superspar open trips results winners were Hew Hodgson, Jimmy Holtshauzen and Roy Matkovich.
In second place were Annette Suther, Astrid Jackson and Ermi Joubert, followed by Robbie Duyts with Hans and Dina van der Walt.
MARGATE
The JL Panelbeaters competition was won by Deon van Schalkwyk, Riemer van der Wal and Heidi Bracegirdle.
Runners-up were Gary Hess, Manny Rodrigues and Bill Eccles.
Session went to the Mullers, namely Wayne, Maureen and Kurt. Winner of the lucky draw was Kobie Ritchie.
