Ultimate human race to test Scotties runners
An Aches and Pains after party will be held to celebrate the athletes.
Scottburgh Athletics Club had a champagne breakfast at the Scottburgh Golf Club last Sunday, as a send-off for their Comrades runners.
The club has 17 members running ‘the ultimate human race’ starting in Pietermaritzburg this Sunday (28th) at 05:30 and ending at Moses Mabhida Stadium 12 hours later.
This year has over 15 000 entries! The Comrades Marathon had a two-year hiatus owing to Covid-19, so the excitement of the 95th edition of the race is contagious for all athletes.
