Justin Chetty clinches Pro-Vision win, qualifies for finals

There are some major events coming up for Pro-Vision in the next month or so.

Pro Vision Golf and Social Club held its penultimate league/monthly mug match at Port Shepstone Country Club last Sunday.

It was the final chance for players to qualify for the Mug Winners’ Cup to be held at Wild Coast Sun Country Club on November 6.
Taking top honours at the ninth match for the year, sponsored by Parush Construction, was Justin Chetty on 41 points and best nett of 67.

Nkazimulo Nqoko, playing off a nine handicap and amassing 40 points, claimed second spot. He also had the best gross of 77. Gansen Appanna, renowned for his consistently straight drives, claimed third spot on 39 points off a handicap of 25.
Log leader in the A division, Pravesh Govender, secured fourth spot on the day with 37 points. Rounding out the top five was Bulelani Ngilande on 36 points.

Anba Pillay won the cash lucky draw sponsored by Krish Kandasamy of Parush Contruction.
Closest to the pins were Fabian Makhany (5th), Kishal Reddy (8th), Rubby Dullay (14th) and Roger Eady (17th). Closest for two on the 4th hole was Kishal Reddy and for three on the 13th hole was Bulelani Ngilande.

The famous Manchester United vs Liverpool supporters golf challenge is set to take place at Port Shepstone Country Club on Sunday, October 30. A good vibe is expected, braai facilities are available and there’s music by Winston Smile.

The club’s 15th year anniversary gala evening will be held at Port Shepstone Country Club on Saturday, December 3.
