Silver division victory for Kim and Sandi

The club's women golfers flew the flag with distinction.

Kim Strauss and Sandi Burger of Port Shepstone Country Club won the silver division at this year’s KwaZulu-Natal Ladies Interclub, held at stormy Dundee Golf Club.

The conditions were very wet and challenging, and with the format being foursomes, scoring was tough.
They shot 81, 83 and 86 to win by quite some way.

Club mates Yzelle Greyling and Jennifer Duncan had a wonderful start, 80, but could not quite maintain the pace and had 92 and 98 and finished in third.

Back home, Gavin van Wyk and Ian Stewart won the Wednesday competition.
They scored +11 to edge out by one Paul Bunge and Albert dos Santos, as well as Bruce Holmes and Gary Vogt.

Saturday’s competition was won on 39 points by Gerald Koch, one ahead of Roly Shaw on 38 points, with Stewart Betts next on 36 points.
