Tweni runners qualify for Comrades 2023

Two runners who train with the Runderful running group in Tweni, took part in the recent Cape Town Marathon.

Both were injured earlier in the year and ‘forgot’ about the Cape Town Marathon but decided on the ’99 number’ to go and run the race.

They have qualified for the Comrades Marathon 2023. Jackie Koekemoer runs for Team Vitality and Vincent van Aswegen runs for Nedbank.

Their Cape Town Marathon times are: Jackie Koekemoer – 04:39. Vincent van Aswegen – 04:49.Congratulations.
