Swap a spike for a golf swing

There are awesome prizes to be won at this golf day.

It will be loads of fun and games as Sideout Volleyball Club host its first golf day at the Port Shepstone Country Club this Sunday (20th).
The event is in aid of sport and community development on the South Coast.

The club has four registered volleyball teams that compete locally, with one team competing nationally. Two teams are U18 and the club is proud of its junior team that has represented at district, provincial and national levels.

Many events are planned for next year which includes taking more teams to national competitions, allowing players to compete for selections on provincial and national teams, as well as hosting beach volleyball tournaments locally. The club is also prepared to get players ready to compete internationally in 2024/25.

The club appeals to businesses to sponsor its vision and allow it the opportunity to grow volleyball among the youth. The event is a family fun day and children can take advantage of the play area at the country club.

Tee off is at 09:00 with a shotgun start and the format is a combined Stableford. Entry is R300 per golfer and includes refreshments and lunch. Awesome prizes to be won. Book at the Pro Shop on 039 695 0140 or contact Ian Rajagopal on 084 4401020 or Deon Chetty on 060 9634870.
