Thanks to everyone who supported fundraising efforts and participated in the North vs South Fundraiser at Margate BC, The Bell, Sezela and AMBC.
Results:
South – 1st Tiens Zietsman, 2nd Glen Hatfield, 3rd Glyn Evans.
North – 1st Johannie Theron, 2nd Len Brickhill, and 3rd Ian Stockton.
Date for the playoffs will be announced.
Also, well done to Geoff Bamber who won the R20k first prize in the lucky draw. Second prize went to Jaunita Fourie, third to G Foote.
MARGATE BC
The Food Lover’s Market sponsored open pairs was won by Peter Cahill and Dave van As.
Runners-up were Trixi Smith and Ian Hutton.
Second session went to Trevor Heywood and Hylton from Riverside Club.
Lucky draw was won by Trevor Prinsloo.
Margate BC won the KBA South vs North fundraising competition played at Margate BC last Saturday.
THE BELL
Thanks to Harbourview Superspar for the continued sponsorship of the monthly trips competition.
Winners of last Friday’s trips were Ryan Keys, Peter Anderson and Mandy Speller-Burls. Runners-up were Leon Sander, Christopher Danca and Khaya Hlongwa, with Ann Swanepoel, Daphne Sapsford and Mada Lindeque in third place.
Well done to Clinton and Marian Knott for winning the club drawn pairs played this weekend and to runners-up Sharolyn Dacey and Steve O’Moore.
If you haven’t put your name up for Christmas lunch on Saturday, December 10, please get it to Sharolyn asap.
TWENI
Umtentweni BC will be closed for greens maintenance from December 4 to January 3.
Hence, the Tweni Pharmacy men’s pairs, Abingdon Spar mixed trips, Harbourview Superspar mixed pairs and 3rd Avenue mixed fours will not be played in December.
The 3rd Avenue mixed fours was won by Nossie Patterson, Richard Dunn, Neil Patterson and Gill Rule.
Runners-up were Mari Strauss, Trudy Rush, Jing Wu Eltringham and Dumasani Madlala.
Session prize went to Johnny Meyer, Albert van Niekerk, Jan Anderson and Herman Lagendijk.
