The women’s Combined Stableford Alliance at Southbroom Golf Club recently was won on 74 points by Jo Ledden, Precious Mkhungo, Shelley Myers and Irene Schanda.
Runners-up were Solange Fox, Lesley Godley, Jill O’Callaghan and Joan Lamper on 69 points.
The men’s competition, same format, was won by Clive Miller, Mike Lig, Malcolm Greenland and Don Osbourn on 82 points.
Runners-up were Gary Purtell, Nicky Smith, Martin Hutton and Phil Verwey on 80 points.
In third place on 80 points were Bob Clark, Bruce Begley, Chris Miller and Vic Pretorius.
Saturday’s betterball was won on 45 points by Werner Duggan and Chris Esterhuizen, two ahead of Christer Solgevik and a pivot.
In third place were Mike Lig and Olliver Ransome on 41 points, followed by Ant Kerdach and Harry Kippen on 39 points.
Chicken Run: Gary Purtell 19 pts, Maeve Mullane 19 pts, Keith Bailey 18 pts.
