Jess Verster Jr wins monthly mug
The Individual Stableford was won by Louise Snyman on 34 points, one ahead of Tom Pearson.
It was time for the playing of the D’arcy Dental Monthly Mug at Port Shepstone Country Club recently.
Overall winner was Jess Verster junior on 80 gross, nett 68.
He had a first nine of 35 and then 45. His round included five birdies – not bad for a guy who is probably a better fisherman.

Gavin van Wyk won the A division on nett 76, one ahead of Smittie Stieger.
Evergreen Gerald Koch won the B division on nett 70, counting out Paul Bunge.
C division honours went to Chris Boyce on nett 74, three ahead of Basil King.
Mug of Mugs (winners of the losers) was Chris Boyce on nett 74.
Golden Mug (winner of the winners) was Smittie Stieger on nett 77.
The competition was won on 116 points (three to count) by Stewart Betts, Eddie Fann, Paul Bunge and Albert dos Santos.
They counted out Smittie Stieger, Charles Hulley, Rob Vogt and Peter Howard.
