Claudio claims Monthly Mug at Umkomaas

A record 79 players competed in the February monthly medal competition at Umkomaas Golf Club, with scores reflecting the wonderful course condition.
The A-division was won by Patrick Ndlovu on nett 69, with Mike Dennison shooting 72 nett to come in second.
B division had copy-and-paste scores, with Steve Oliver winning on nett 69 and Brian Stephens runner-up on 72 nett.
C division players seemed to find the conditions easiest, with first place won on an incredible nett 66 by Claudio Bellato who was also crowned Monthly Mug winner.
Second place was Ken Koster on an impressive nett 69.
The ladies A division (up to 20 handicap) was won by Evija McKelvey on nett 78, one shot ahead of Heather Parsonage.
Bridget Lee emerged victorious in the B division on nett 77, closely followed by Sue Boucher on nett 78. Bridget Lee was awarded the Medal Glass.

Four of our ladies competed in the South Coast Meet held at Scottburgh on Sunday.
They finished third in the mystery alliance. The team comprised Natalie Singer, Max van der Heever, Heather Parsonage and Vanessa Bailey.
