The finals of the Kingfisher Bowling Association‘s men’s and women’s trips were held at The Bell last weekend.
The women’s section was won by Lindi Samuel, Bets de Villiers and Elise Duvenhage (Hibberdene), from Michelle Greig, Wilma Steinman and Beth Trusler (Riverside)
Joint third were Ellen Cawker, Marilyn Folly and Georgie McKechnie (Windham) and Johannie Theron, Charmaine van der Westhuizen and Sandra van Niekerk (The Bell).
In the men’s section winners were Eddie Fann, Flip Geyer and Kevin Lancaster (Port Shepstone CC).
Runners-up were Kevin O’Donoghue, Fred Hutchens and Keith Findlay (AMBC).
Joint third were Mike Robertson, Simon Schaaij and Brian Dunderdale (Scottburgh), along with Tony Waters, Cleve Walker and Glen Hatfield (Southbroom).
HIBBERDENE
The Gladiator Security nominated trips was won by Richard Cochman, Kitty Cochman and Jill von Brandis (UMT team).
In second place were Johan Labuschagne, Elize Duvenhage and Jynie Swanepoel.
Third spot went to Bez Bezuidenhout, Bubbles Bezuidenhout and Estelle Quinn.
The Re/Max drawn trips was won by Charmaine van der Westhuizen, Elize Duvenhage and Chris Joubert.
Second were Albert Munnik, Div de Villiers and Judy Aiston.
Third were Colin Abbood, Gill Rule and Alida Munnik.
Next competition is the Hibberdene Spar drawn trips this Friday.
THE BELL
The Harbourview Superspar trips was won by Hew Hodgson, Jimmy Holtshauzen and Roy Matkovich.
Second were Sharolyn Dacey, Steve O’Moore and Winnie Hess.
In third spot were Robbie Duyts, Hans and Dina van der Walt.
The Food Lover’s Market pairs was won by Stippie Scholtz and Frik Janse van Rensburg.
Second were Louw and Charmaine Vermeulen, with the session to Astrid Jackson and Rentie Stevens.
Well done to Johannie Theron, Charmaine van der Westhuizen and Sandy van Niekerk on coming third in the recent KBA trips.
MARGATE
The Food Lover’s Market open pairs was won by Ferro van Greunen and Mark Kassner.
Runners-up were Maureen and Wayne Muller.
Second session winners were Martiens Olivier and Rentia Williamson.
Lucky draw was won by Carol Roodt.
VILLAGE
Winning the Hibiscus Brokers open trips were Brian Douthwaite, Gary Hess and Manny Rodrigues.
Runners-up were Tiens Zietsman, Kobie Ritchie and Bill Eccles.
First session went to Butch Bruce, Marilyn Francis and Jenny Bruce. Second session to Corrie Pieters, Helen Pieters and Louis Heystek.
PORT EDWARD
The Debonairs Pro 10 Trips was won by Jokkie van Buuren, Marianne van Buuren and Lyn Walton.
Runners-up were Anthony Card, Priscilla Going and Tony Going.
Session prize went to Pat Brand-Lyle, Shelley Backhouse and Graeme Russell.
TWENI
The Oribi Wimpy ladies pairs was won by Hedy Morom and Ermi Joubert from Tammy Gibbons and Rentia Williamson.
Session prize went to Yvonne James and Stippie Scholtz.
