Swimmer Alex-Zandré shines

The South Coast has an abundance of swimming talent.

Alex-Zandré Labuschagne (14) of Margate Swimming School is currently taking part in the SA Senior Nationals in Port Elizabeth. The champs started on Wednesday and finish on Sunday.

She is currently the only South Coast swimmer to qualify to attend this prestigious event for the 2022-2023 season – and is still only 14.

Alex-Zandré currently trains at Margate Swimming Club (MSC) and attends Southcity Christian school.

She is then looking forward to representing KwaZulu-Natal in Durban the following weekend.

This time, she will be joined by fellow MSC members, namely Kaitlyn Ramos, Tristan Horsley and Ange Doré, at the KZN Schools champs.
