It has been a bumper-to-bumper month of high mileage for the South Coast Striders members who are preparing for the 2024 edition of the Comrades marathon.
This was witnessed when Striders had to prepare themselves by using back-to-back marathons, two weeks in succession.
On April 15 some 16 Striders ran the Two Oceans in Cape Town, in the ultra marathon and half marathon sections.
On April 23, another bunch of runners took part in the Chatsworth Marathon in three categories namely – 52km, 25km and 10km.
