Bowlers knit for babies

Bowlers 4 Babies was started nearly 10 years ago by Marie Forward and Wendy Walker in response to an appeal by the PRO of Port Shepstone Regional Hospital for baby clothes and blankets.
Initially, it was just a small group of bowling women knitting items for the babies.
It has grown to include many non-bowling women (and men) and even overseas donors.
At present they make up 46 baby packs a month and distribute them at the maternity ward in Murchison Hospital.
