KINGFISHER BA
The KBA Midweek Fours has drawn to a conclusion, with some worthy winners emerging.
The women’s section was won by Banners Rest, namely Pam Cole-Cook, Amanda Visser, Janet Venter and Amelia Pieterse.
Runners-up were Margate BC, comprising Maureen Muller, Lenie Geyer, Sannie Balzer and Yvonne Bausek.
Third place went to The Bell, namely Sharolyn Dacey, Desiree Krause, Dina van der Walt, Mandy Speller-Burls and Gerda Clark, tied with Scottburgh, comprising Eunice Stockton, Belinda Doornkamp, B Lindeque and Jenny Laight.
In the men’s section, winners were The Bell, made up of Leon Sander, Robbie Duyts, Hans van der Walt and Tony Aveyard.
Runners-up were Southbroom, namely Glen Hatfield, Cleve Walker, Glynn Evans and Tony Waters.
THE BELL
Well done to Leon Sander, Robbie Duyts, Hans van der Walt and Tony Aveyard for winning the KBA men’s midweek fours.
Well done, also, to Sharolyn Dacey, Dina van der Walt, Mandy Burls and Gerda Clark/Desiree Krause for coming third in the KBA ladies’ midweek fours.
The Harbourview Superspar open trips were won by Sharolyn Dacey, Steve O’Moore and Marian Knott.
Runners-up were Renzo van Niekerk, Louw Brits and Tony Aveyard.
In third place were Hew Hodgson, Jimmy Holtshauzen and Roy Matkovich.
SOUTHBROOM
Winning the Wolf Security open trips were Tiens Zietsmann, Julie Walker and Kobie Ritchie.
Runners-up were Vernon Clements, Heiner Wolber and Carol Renniers.
First session went to Mervyn Barratt, Des Evans and Ren Smuts and the second to Brian Douthwaite, Bruno Lolli and Rhett Butler.
TWENI
The Tweni Pharmacy men’s pairs was won by Albert Munnik and Colin Abood.
Runners-up were Bez Bezuidenhout and Adam Grobler. Session prize went to Don Russouw and Roy Matkovich.
