KINGFISHER BA
The KBA singles finals were held last weekend with some exciting games across the open and veterans’ divisions, men and women.
Open men: 1st – Terrance McGlynn (Riverside); 2nd – Kevin Lancaster (Port Shepstone); 3rd – André Malgue (RSC) and Johan Labuschangne (Hibberdene).
Open women: 1st – Pam Cole-Cook (Banners Rest); 2nd – Vi Pells (Banners Rest); 3rd – Amelia Pieterse (Banners Rest) and Pat Malgue (Riverside).
Vets men: 1st – Des Hean (Widenham); 2nd – Ferro van Greunen (Riverside); 3rd – Glyn Evans (Southbroom) and John Keppler (Banners Rest).
Vets women: 1st – Annetjie Kidd (AMBC); 2nd – Trixi Smith (Margate); 3rd – Sandy van Niekerk (The Bell) and Linda Mynhardt (AMBC).

RIVERSIDE
Winners of the Food Lover’s Market open trips were Penny Weddell, André Malgue and Gail Taylor.
Runners-up were Graham Dunlop, Caron Thomas and a visitor from Boksburg, Steve (surname unknown).
The Uvongo Spar mixed pairs was won by Naomi Swartz and Mike Thomas from upcountry.
They each won Spar vouchers to the value of R150.

HIBBERDENE
The Hibberdene Pharmacy drawn trips on July 21 was won by Jan Oosthuizen, Estelle Quinn and Amanda Boucher.
Runners-up were Albert Munnik, Norman Aiston and Pauline Howle.
In third place were Eddie Milne, Paul Grutter and Joey Venter.
The drawn trips competition sponsored by Re/Max Coast and Country held on July 28 was won by Collin Abbood, Sheryll Lederle and Bossie Boshoff.
Runners-up were Pat Symcox, Charmaine van der Westhuizen and Johan Labuschagne.
Third place went to Estelle Quinn, Bob Hayward and Div de Villiers.

THE BELL
Well done to Sandy van Niekerk for coming joint third in the Kingfisher BA veteran ladies’ singles last weekend.
The open trips last Friday, sponsored by Harbourview Superspar, saw 24 teams playing.
Winners were Robbie Duyts with Hans and Dina van der Walt.
Second were Hedy Morom, Jan Purdon and Sandy Shepard.
In third were Sharolyn Dacey, Steve O’Moore and Marian Knott.

PORT EDWARD
The Tiago Power Pairs, played on July 28, was won by The Nuts – John Kepler and Hazel Delaney.
In second place was team Jokmar – Jokkie and Marianne van Buuren.
Third place went to Double Trouble – Gawie Bosman and Amelia Pieterse.

MARGATE
The Food Lover’s Market 2-4-2 was won by Martiens Olivier and Wayne Muller, from Gerry Davey and Gerhard Balzer.
Session winners were Mervyn Barratt and Louis Heystek, with the lukcy draw going to Johan Pretorius.

TWENI
Winners of the Harbourview mixed pairs were Kevin Mullen and Laraine Harris, from Jack van den Berg and Kitty Cochman.
Session went to Tammy Gibbons and Artur Lopes.
