Two paydays for Malcolm

It's been a good week for Malcolm Greenland.

In the Beatles film A Hard Day’s Night all those years ago, the band found themselves facing a litany of anxious reporters and photographers.

When asked, “How did you find America?” John replies, “Turn left at Greenland.”
Southbroom Golf Club has its own Greenland, in none other than Malcolm who, according to some, might be the luckiest golfer on the planet.

Whatever the case, Malcolm teamed up with Geoff Skelton to win the betterball at Southbroom last Wednesday on 41 points.

Runners-up were Jonathan Muthige and Sidney Shingane on 40 points.
Saturday’s combined alliance was won on 87 points by Rory O’Donnell, Bob Carmichael, Malcolm Greenland and Colin Mckay.

Next were Tim James, Marius Santos, Neill Crossey and Derek James on 81 points, counting out Don Osbourn, Johan Wentzel, Roger Hissey and Brian Jolliffe.
Chicken Run: Harry Devenish 20 points, Geoff Skelton 16 points, Ed Geffen 16 points.
