The first of five twilight bowls evenings took place last Tuesday and was thoroughly enjoyed by the 24 teams that entered.
The many who enjoyed the bring and braai afterwards was proof that even the rain could not dampen their spirits. A big thank you to Hampsons Suzuki for their generous sponsorship of this event. The raffle was won by Mike Malone from Scottburgh.
The ladies monthly trips competition was won by Liesje de Rosner, Barbara Henderson and Christene Gage on a 4+24. Runners-up on a 3 +11 was Helen Turk, Jenny Wadely and Maureen Moffett. Second session was won by Noelene Venter, Rose Daniel and Karen Chiole on 2+5.
