Mixed pairs victory for Ellen and Des

Ellen Cawker and Des Hean emerged victorious in the Kingfisher Bowling Association’s (KBA) Mixed Pairs competition recently.
Their thrilling final, played at the Widenham Retirement Village Bowling Club (WRVBC), captivated an enthusiastic crowd of spectators and supporters.
The intense match went to an extra end, showcasing the skill and determination of the players. As champions, Des and Ellen earned the honour of representing the KBA at the South African National Mixed Pairs tournament, scheduled for July in Newcastle.
Ellen and Des are members of the WRVBC, and the community is very proud of their achievement!
