KZN colours for kickboxers

Five students recently got KZN colours for kickboxing for 2023.

The mid-South Coast’s Malcolm Vincent, a Krav Maga and combative instructor who has a second-degree black belt in kickboxing and a black belt in karate, runs Practical Combatives (self-defence) and Practical Combat Sports.

He began the club in Scottburgh in 2015.

Malcolm started off primarily in self-defence and about two years ago branched off into kickboxing.

Five of his students received KZN colours for kickboxing at the 2023 champs. Eight more students are also set to receive their colours soon.

The club is also prepping for SA champs in April and is hoping to do better than last year where they achieved one gold, one silver and three bronze.

Malcolm is also stepping into MMA to offer even more opportunities to locals.
