Sashen claims Beekman mug

Some quality golf was displayed in the wind.

Pro Vision held their third league and second monthly mug golf competition for the year at Port Shepstone Country Club last Sunday.

This particular round was sponsored by John Beekman.

It also served as the first leg of the Team Golf competition, which sees Putt Pirates and London’s Warriors as joint leaders on 104 points.

Pro Vision Super Kings are next on 93 points, with Bunker Buddies on 92 points and Grip It and Rip It in fifth place on 90 points.

First place in the individual went to Sashen Govender on 38 points, counting out Bulelani Ngilande.

Third place went to Eric Mlambo on 37 points, with Robert Mavundla next on 36 points.

Completing the top five was Kishal Reddy on 35 points.

A division: Bulelani Ngilande 38, Eric Mlambo 37, Robert Mavundla 36.
B division: Sashen Govender 38, Kishal Reddy 35, Naveshin Moodley 33.
C division: Jeevan Mahadev 35, Niren Ghingai 34, Rogers Perumal 33.
Nearest the pins: 4th Robert Mavundla (for two), 5th Lishen Govender, 8th Bulelani Ngilande, 13th Robert Mavundla (for three), 14th Bulelani Ngilande, 17th Santhos Baskali.
